ABOUT OXFORD COUNTY TOWN HALL

A useful public conversation.

Clear questions. Civil disagreement. Sources people can check.

What belongs on the board

Specific questions about local decisions, constructive ideas and sourced requests for clarification. Civil criticism of spending, policies and public records is welcome.

What stays out

Personal abuse, threats, private information, spam, duplicate flooding and unsupported allegations against identifiable people. Do not submit someone else’s private contact details, personal circumstances or sensitive records.

Review before publication

New submissions enter a private review queue. An editor can publish, decline or retain them for further review. Status is visible to the submitter in My activity. There is no automated promise of a response time.

Answers need a source

Candidate responses require verified identity and review. Editor-added public statements require attribution and a public source. A public statement can be summarized with attribution; that does not imply the person submitted it to this site or endorses this project.

Support, not a pile-on

Each signed-in account can support a question once and reverse that action. There are no downvotes. Counts are interest from site users, not verified resident votes or representative opinion.

Editorial questions

Starting questions and opportunity ideas created by the site are labelled editorial and begin with no support. No fabricated votes, comments or candidate responses are added.

Official participation remains separate

Submitting here does not email a candidate, register a delegation, file an appeal or create a service request. For those actions, follow the relevant official procedure.
